Faststream Recruitment are looking for a Senior Instrumentation Engineer on behalf of a major Global Energy business, to work on a billion-dollar, international, large chemicals processing facility project. The project will contribute towards European energy transition targets through the delivery of sustainable battery materials for transportation.
 
As an experienced Instrumentation Engineer, you are likely to be Chartered or near chartered.  

Key Duties will include:
Work activities will include both project and proposal work where both the technical approach and continuity must be aligned
Work activities for both projects and proposals will be executed across all phases of projects including Conceptual Studies; Basic; FEED; Detailed Design; Procurement through to Commissioning. 
Projects and proposals are for process plant and facilities across the Chemical; Oil and Gas; and Power sectors
Project work will include development of Instrument Engineering deliverables as required on a project by project basis.

Previous experience on Battery Materials and Battery Manufacturing projects would be beneficial as is being COMPEX qualified.

This is an exciting 12 month + contract working on a major new green energy project. The role is on a PAYE basis and the client will provide the necessary equipment to do the work. The client is happy for a hybrid working arrangement with 2 days in the office and 3 from home. They are also happy for you to work out any of their 3 UK office locations in West London, Manchester or Stockton.
