Overview
Purpose-led maritime organisation seeking a Senior Electrical & Electronics Engineer to support the integration, testing, and development of safety-critical marine assets used in lifesaving operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Integrate and test electrical/electronic systems on new and existing marine assets
  • Support trials, investigations, troubleshooting, and data analysis (on-site and supplier locations)
  • Produce engineering outputs (CAD, drawings, calculations, specifications)
  • Ensure compliance with engineering processes, standards, and governance
  • Work within multidisciplinary engineering and project teams
  • Support R&D activity as required
Essential Requirements
  • Significant experience in electrical/electronic engineering
  • Engineering qualification at UK Level 6 (or Level 5 with strong experience)
  • Working towards IEng (or equivalent professional registration)
  • Strong IT skills incl. CAD (e.g. SolidWorks)
  • Strong communication skills
Desirable
  • Supervisory or project management experience
  • Ability to go afloat in all sea conditions
