Position: Dry-Dock PMO Sr. Manager
About the Role: As the Dry-Dock PMO Sr. Manager, you'll be at the forefront of managing and delivering successful dry-dock projects. Your role will encompass planning, scheduling, and coordinating resources to maximize efficiency across multiple project teams. You'll ensure that projects adhere to company guidelines and regulatory codes, driving excellence from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop & Implement Systems: Create and maintain robust dry-dock systems, policies, tools, and procedures.
- Project Management: Lead the entire dry-dock project lifecycle, from concept design and shipyard selection to execution and lessons learned.
- Team Leadership: Oversee and mentor Dry Dock Project Planners, fostering a high-performance team environment.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate closely with Technical Operations, Refurbishment Departments, and other stakeholders.
- Contract Management: Formalize contracts with shipyards, resolve complex issues, and coordinate vendor work.
- Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with industry standards, policies, and regulatory codes.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Marine, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or equivalent.
- Experience: 8-10 years in dry-dock planning and execution, with at least 3-5 years in team management.
- Technical Proficiency: Fluent in standard IT software and dry-dock specific tools. Additional languages are a plus.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Able to find safe, economical, and timely solutions to technical issues.
- Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership abilities with excellent technical, commercial, and negotiation skills.
