We are partnering with a shipping client to hire a Senior Crewing Manager in Singapore.
Proven leadership and people management experience is essential for this position. To be considered, you need to have extensive crewing experience for both wet and dry vessels. Hands on experience in driving initiatives revolving around recruitment and retention of seafarers. Prior sailing experience up to a Master or Chief Engineer is a must.
Reporting to the CEO, you are fully responsible for the end to end crewing functions for a fleet of mixed wet and dry cargo vessels. You will liaise and coordinate with internal manning offices and third party manning agencies on the supply of quality seafarers to the fleet. Review and preparation of crew budgets. Ensure compliance and keeping abreast with current regulations impacting employment of seafarers, embarkation and disembarkation, crew wages, etc. Developing and driving initiatives to further improve recruitment and retention of seafarers, process streamlining and improvement, automation and digitalisation, etc.
