A fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role as a Commercial Executive in one of the world largest ship owners. We are looking for someone who is familiar with vessel commercial activities and would like to grow their career in the LNG field.
The Job:
- Assist the Senior Manager in overseeing a fleet of LNG carriers.
- Facilitate efficient communication and coordination among Charterer, Owners, and Ship Technical Managers.
- Guarantee the secure and dependable transportation of LNG, aiming to optimize Owner profits.
- Aid the LNG and Offshore division in cultivating customer relationships and elevating overall commercial value.
Responsibilities:
- Owner representative for a fleet of LNG carriers.
- Analysis of potential opportunities
- Liaise with Technical and Commercial Teams overseas.
- Response to Tenders.
- Develop relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Provide Operational Input for Contractual compliance matters.
- Compliance of commercial and ship management contracts.
- Time Charterparties
- Ship Management Agreements
- Resolve commercial disputes.
- Prepare OPEX reports
- Ensure effective communications with all stakeholders.
- Liaise with: Charterers, Ship technical managers, Finance, P&I Club.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum Diploma in Maritime, International Business, Accounting or relevant qualification.
- Knowledge of LNG / shipping commercial operations, LNG time charter contracts, claims handling.
- Good financial sense in accounting and budgeting will be beneficial
