Faststream are working with a globally renowned and respected Port Agent in search of a Senior Agency operator based in the Southampton/Portsmouth area to cover the south coast.
Your new role:
- As a Senior Agency operator, you will be the "first port of call" when a ship comes into port, assisting with the operational duties that are required
- You will be responsible to book the port services for vessel birthing and sailing
- You will board the vessels on arrival and departure to conduct the necessary operations
- As a Senior Agency Operator, it is important you are a clear communicator as you will be liaising with multiple parties on a regular basis
- You will have a clear passion and a base knowledge of the maritime industry
- As you will be in a busy environment it is important you can work calmly under pressure
