This role focuses on expanding market share within the marine, offshore, oil & gas, power generation and industrial sectors, both locally and internationally.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business development initiatives and explore new prospects in domestic and overseas markets
- Achieve sales targets while optimizing profitability and margins
- Develop annual and monthly sales plans, forecasts, and customer proposals
- Execute strategic sales initiatives aligned with business objectives
- Conduct sales visits and cultivate new customers across marine and energy sectors
- Build and strengthen relationships with OEMs, principals and suppliers for engines and machinery
- Ensure compliance with ISO management systems and internal processes
- Coach and develop sales team capabilities through knowledge sharing and training
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging technologies
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering or Business
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in engine spare parts sales within Marine, Offshore or Oil & Gas industries
- Strong commercial acumen with proven sales and negotiation skills
- Experience in forecasting, budgeting and profit responsibility
- Ability to work independently and perform under pressure
- Detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Possess Class 3 driving licence / own vehicle
- Willing to travel overseas when required
