A well-established marine engineering and services organisation is seeking a commercially driven Sales Manager to lead business development and drive growth across its engine and machinery spare parts portfolio.
This role focuses on expanding market share within the marine, offshore, oil & gas, power generation and industrial sectors, both locally and internationally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive business development initiatives and explore new prospects in domestic and overseas markets
  • Achieve sales targets while optimizing profitability and margins
  • Develop annual and monthly sales plans, forecasts, and customer proposals
  • Execute strategic sales initiatives aligned with business objectives
  • Conduct sales visits and cultivate new customers across marine and energy sectors
  • Build and strengthen relationships with OEMs, principals and suppliers for engines and machinery
  • Ensure compliance with ISO management systems and internal processes
  • Coach and develop sales team capabilities through knowledge sharing and training
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging technologies
Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in Engineering or Business
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in engine spare parts sales within Marine, Offshore or Oil & Gas industries
  • Strong commercial acumen with proven sales and negotiation skills
  • Experience in forecasting, budgeting and profit responsibility
  • Ability to work independently and perform under pressure
  • Detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Possess Class 3 driving licence / own vehicle
  • Willing to travel overseas when required
