The Sales Operations Specialist will play a key role in supporting business growth by analyzing sales and marketing performance, managing CRM systems, and delivering data-driven insights that inform strategic decisions. Working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, this position ensures the commercial team is equipped with accurate information and effective tools to optimize performance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Market Data Analysis
- Analyze sales and marketing data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for growth.
- Support decision-making with accurate insights derived from CRM, Power BI, and other analytical tools.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across systems.
- Collaborate with regional and global sales teams to develop reliable forecasts based on pipeline activity and market intelligence.
- Maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs to track performance metrics such as order intake and pipeline progression.
- Present clear and actionable insights to management and key stakeholders.
- Work closely with sales, marketing, and business intelligence teams to align strategic priorities.
- Facilitate data sharing and coordinated execution of sales initiatives.
- Coordinate with marketing and intelligence teams to evaluate market research findings and campaign performance.
- Monitor regional campaign results and ensure visibility in CRM systems.
- Support the planning and execution of key industry events, seminars, and exhibitions.
- Demonstrate curiosity and drive for continuous learning, embracing new analytical tools and methods.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales operations or a similar analytical role within a B2B, EPC, or technology-oriented organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft D365 CRM and Power BI preferred (training can be provided).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive and collaborative, capable of thriving in a dynamic, matrix environment.
- Knowledge of the maritime or shipbuilding sector is advantageous.
- Familiarity with generative AI tools and advanced analytics is an asset.
