Are you an experienced sales professional/ Business development professional with a proven track record in project logistics or supply chain solutions, ready to take ownership of a territory and drive high value deals? We’re looking for a Sales Manager to join a small, high performing UK team focused on complex transport projects, including breakbulk, RoRo, pre and on carriage and sea freight solutions.

This is a hands on role for someone who thrives on generating business from scratch, building strong client relationships and delivering innovative, cost-effective solutions. You’ll have autonomy, a clear path to uncapped earnings, and the opportunity to work on projects that span the UK, Ireland and beyond.

What you’ll do:
  • Identify, engage and win new business in project logistics and multi-modal supply chain solutions.
  • Deliver tailored proposals and negotiate contracts for high value breakbulk, RoRo, sea freight and project cargo.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to project execution, collaborating closely with operations, suppliers and project teams.
  • Build long-term relationships with clients, turning opportunities into repeat business and referrals.
  • Represent the business at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events, positioning the company as a solutions leader.
  • Keep a pulse on market trends, competitor activity, and industry best practices to drive growth.
What we’re looking for:
  • Proven experience: 5+ years in project logistics, freight forwarding, or complex supply chain sales (hunter role).
  • Track record of success: Ability to create and grow business from “zero base” opportunities.
  • Relationship and negotiation skills: Strong influence at all levels of client organisations.
  • Commercial & technical acumen: Knowledge of multi-modal transport, project logistics and freight forwarding, with the ability to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Self-starter: Highly motivated, autonomous, and results driven; thrives in a small, collaborative team.
  • Travel ready: Comfortable with UK wide travel and occasional international trips.
  • Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, engineering, or a related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM/ERP systems.
