Faststream are proud to be working with a Global leader in Maritime Technology who are the figurehead for innovation throughout the industry. We are partnering together in search of a Sales Manager based in the UK.
  
The role…
In this exciting position, the successful candidate will manage and develop client relationships in the Ferry, O&G, and Government markets, maintaining and building on the business’s market-leading position.
  
The responsibility…
  • Build and maintain close contact between the company with existing and new customers that leads to new sales of products, services, and solutions
  • Executing the business strategy, with a particular focus on new developing projects in collaboration with customer base
  • Develop an understanding of our customers business in order to create a suitable and compelling valued offering that will enhance their business
  • Assist customers with budget planning for maintenance of all products where identified
  • Maintain a CRM opportunity pipeline and issue visit reports within agreed timescales
  • Work proactively within a team of support staff, i.e. coordinators, engineers, design teams and site supervisors
  
The requirements…
  • Experienced Sales Manager with a proven track record in delivering business results
  • Strong negotiation skills, both technically and commercially, and able to close deals
  • Excellent communication skills, with an ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Presentation skills, ability to adapt the messaging to the audience.
  • Strong team-building capacity
  • Tolerance to working under stress in a complex business environment
  • Previous experience from shipowner sales businesses is considered an advantage
  • Experience leading a team is considered an advantage but not a prerequisite
