The responsibility…
- Build and maintain close contact between the company with existing and new customers that leads to new sales of products, services, and solutions
- Executing the business strategy, with a particular focus on new developing projects in collaboration with customer base
- Develop an understanding of our customers business in order to create a suitable and compelling valued offering that will enhance their business
- Assist customers with budget planning for maintenance of all products where identified
- Maintain a CRM opportunity pipeline and issue visit reports within agreed timescales
- Work proactively within a team of support staff, i.e. coordinators, engineers, design teams and site supervisors
The requirements…
- Experienced Sales Manager with a proven track record in delivering business results
- Strong negotiation skills, both technically and commercially, and able to close deals
- Excellent communication skills, with an ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders both internally and externally
- Presentation skills, ability to adapt the messaging to the audience.
- Strong team-building capacity
- Tolerance to working under stress in a complex business environment
- Previous experience from shipowner sales businesses is considered an advantage
- Experience leading a team is considered an advantage but not a prerequisite
