As Sales Manager you will be the driving force behind commercial growth in the region. You will target large vessel operators (merchant, offshore, reefer, and cruise) and build a sales strategy that scales across SEA and beyond. This is a genuine “hunter” role: you’ll identify new business opportunities, cultivate strategic channel partnerships, lead customer negotiations and close complex deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a regional sales plan to win new accounts in the maritime vessel-fleet sector, focusing on marine OEMs, ship-owners and operators.
- Prospect, qualify and secure new business, achieving significant revenue growth from cold-field and up-field expansion.
- Define and establish channel partnerships and alliances (agents, distributors, fleet service providers) to amplify market reach.
- Manage the full sales cycle: solution discovery, proposal development, demo coordination, contract negotiation and closing.
- Collaborate with product, operations and marketing teams to tailor the value proposition for each client segment and support implementation.
- Provide market feedback and competitive insight to shape product roadmap, pricing strategies and go-to-market artefacts.
- 3-5+ years of sales experience in maritime, offshore or ship-services technology, preferably with exposure to vessel performance, marine systems or fleet services.
- A proven “hunter” mindset with a track record of consistently exceeding quota by new-business acquisition, penetration of new verticals or geographies.
- Comfortable engaging senior decision-makers (C-suite, Fleet Operations, Technical) and building credibility in a technical sales environment.
- Strong negotiation, presentation and contract-closing skills, with high levels of drive and self-motivation.
- Ability to lead channel development: identify partners, build win-win relationships, independently manage partner pipeline.
- Based in Singapore or willing to relocate; frequent travel across SEA and occasional global trips required.
