We are seeking a Sales Manager to join a worldwide innovator in marine environmental systems, delivering smart, sustainable solutions that help vessels manage water, waste, and emissions responsibly. From cutting-edge treatment systems to complete lifecycle support, they’re enabling ship owners and operators to run cleaner, greener, and more efficient fleets.
The business are a pioneer in marine sustainability, this business develops and supplies advanced systems that turn complex environmental challenges into practical, compliant solutions for shipowners around the world.
The Role
In this role, you’ll take ownership of a mixture of existing accounts and also take on business development responsibilities to expand their global reach. You’ll work closely with internal and external partners to develop new business, nurture customer relationships, and help drive our mission to enable cleaner, compliant, and more efficient marine operations.
This is a UK based position, including a split of home working and travelling to see customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales across the full product portfolio through both direct and indirect channels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and commercial partners.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of business goals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline data within the company CRM system.
- Follow all internal sales processes, gates, and workflow requirements.
- Represent the business at key industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows.
- Provide accurate reporting to support performance tracking against business objectives.
- Partner with the senior leadership team to identify and develop routes into emerging markets.
Requirements
- Strong sales/ commercial experience in the marine or process industries.
- A strong network within the maritime sector and an understanding of key stakeholders in the sales process.
- Familiarity with marine/process systems; experience with marine waste applications is highly advantageous.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- A strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- The ability to collaborate effectively across global teams and diverse cultures.
- Willingness to travel internationally (around 40% of working time).
