The role...

You will work closely with the Sales, Marketing & Support Teams in uncovering new business opportunities, dealing with upgrade sales and passing new business opportunities to the appropriate Sales Territory Manager to follow through with the sales process. This role is crucial in the growth and development of the company.

The responsibility...

Contacting existing clients and target companies to developing the sales funnel and pipeline in accordance with the targets set by Management

  • Contact around 30 companies per day
  • Facilitate vessel/fleet/user additions with current customers that you uncover
  • Provide lead generation, working with Business Development managers to uncover new business opportunities
  • Provide customer intelligence to the group, facilitating product introductions and content creation
  • Work with both marketing and commercial teams to ensure sales pipelines are full and active
  • Pass 3 qualified leads per day to the Territory Sales Managers. A qualified lead equals a client/prospect with the decision maker or an influencer that has expressed interest in one of the company platforms to qualify the opportunity or progress a sales process 
  • Enter data of prospect and contact data in CRM database
  • Develop sales strategies together with [Reporting to]
  • Follow up targeted email campaigns, marketing releases, conferences
  • Provide feedback to management on effectiveness of outbound phone and email campaigns
  • Adhering to the company selling processes, practices and rules of engagement
The requirements...

  • SDR or BD experience is essential
  • Maritime experience is desired but not essential
  • Must have the right to work in the UK
  • Must have previous Tele sales or BD experience
