You’ll start by supporting service and sales activities — learning the ropes from seasoned account managers — and progressively step into direct customer engagement, proposal development, and relationship-building.
Your Day To Day:
- Support sales and service efforts related to maintenance, repair, and upgrades of marine equipment.
- Assist in technical meetings, proposal development, and service planning with existing and prospective clients.
- Act as a liaison between customers and internal engineering teams, helping define requirements and align technical solutions.
- Help prepare and present service proposals and quotations, with increasing autonomy.
- Coordinate service schedules and maintain accurate service documentation.
- Build deep product knowledge and a clear understanding of the marine services market.
- Play a role in identifying new business opportunities and expanding client relationships.
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in marine or mechanical engineering, field service, or technical support.
- Strong technical base, with a genuine interest in sales, customer relations, and business development.
- Confident communicator who enjoys working with people, not just machines.
- A team player who can connect with both technical specialists and business stakeholders.
- Diploma or Degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Transition into a commercial career path without leaving your technical roots behind.
- Work with a reputable marine engineering firm with a strong client base.
