We are partnering with a leading offshore shipping company that is looking to add a proactive and detail‑oriented QHSE Coordinator to their team in the Netherlands.
About the Role As the QHSE Coordinator, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving the company’s Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards across their offshore fleet. You will support QHSE initiatives, perform internal audits, and collaborate with vessel and shore‑based teams to ensure continual improvement and full regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and monitoring of QHSE policies and procedures across offshore vessels
- Conduct internal audits and contribute to audit planning and reporting
- Assist with incident reporting, investigation, and follow-up actions
- Ensure compliance with international maritime safety and environmental standards
- Coordinate QHSE documentation, certifications, and improvement initiatives
- Liaise with vessel crews, technical teams, and senior management on QHSE matters
- Contribute to training activities and safety awareness campaigns
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a QHSE-related role, ideally within offshore shipping or maritime operations
- Hands-on experience with internal audits and QHSE management systems
- Strong understanding of offshore vessel operations and industry safety standards
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative working style
- Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
- Already based in the Netherlands – this role does not offer relocation support
