Job Opportunity: Business Quality Specialist
Location: Flexible - Hamburg or Cyprus / Travel Required

Reports To: Head of Quality

A dynamic and detail-oriented Business Quality Specialist is sought to join a growing team in the hospitality and passenger vessel operations sector. This role is ideal for a professional with a passion for operational excellence, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the organisation’s management systems, documentation standards, and service quality across multiple business areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure company documentation aligns with ISO 9001 and other applicable quality standards.
  • Develop, review, and implement General Guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and operational manuals.
  • Support the planning and delivery of internal and external workshops focused on procedure and manual development.
  • Conduct audits to assess compliance with the organisation’s management system and facilitate improvement cycles.
  • Maintain a structured and ISO-compliant documentation library and digital filing system.
  • Assist with quality-related IT infrastructure, such as document management systems.
  • Ensure alignment with hospitality industry best practices.
  • Provide guidance to staff on understanding and applying the management system.
  • Monitor KPI reporting compliance in cooperation with the Business Performance team.
  • Participate in cross-functional quality and improvement projects.
Candidate Profile:
  • A bachelor’s degree in hospitality, maritime operations, or another relevant field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in hospitality, passenger vessel operations, quality assurance, or a related industry.
  • Fluent English; German language skills are a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software tools.
  • Willingness to travel regularly for operational support and audits.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other standards (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001) is advantageous.
