The Company-
Join a dynamic and innovative offshore renewable energy consultancy dedicated to driving sustainable energy solutions. They specialize in the design, construction, and management of offshore wind and marine energy projects. As they expand operations, they seek a talented Project Engineer to join their team in Woking.

The Role-
As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the successful execution of offshore energy projects. You will be responsible for overseeing construction activities, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards, and effectively managing project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate design and construction activities for offshore energy projects.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Write procedures and guidelines for construction activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Manage site drawings and documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Conduct site inspections and provide technical support as needed.
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical challenges and optimize project outcomes.
The Person-
  • Bachelor's (BEng) or Master's (MEng) degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
  • 3-7 years of experience in construction projects, can be from a renewables, oil & gas or rail background.
  • Proven experience in site and desk roles, including writing procedures, managing site drawings, and liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations related to offshore construction activities.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
