Job Description

I'm currently working with a major renewable energy company to recruit for a Project Engineer. Responsibilities include planning, mobilising, executing, and demobilising statutory inspection projects, maintaining team performance, and aiding in the design and implementation of engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Equip team members for inspection projects.
  • Manage project tooling, equipment, and consumables.
  • Conduct on-site QHSE audits and mentor technicians.
  • Provide weekly progress reports and implement safe systems of work.
  • Create Written Schemes of Examination (WSE).
  • Support the Project Manager in tooling and solution delivery.
  • Handle general purchasing and manage project records.
  • Ensure quality control and conduct pre/post-project inspections.
Role Requirements:
  • Stay updated on processes, procedures, and regulatory changes.
  • Attend meetings and ensure data and property security.
  • Support departmental initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proficient with MS Office and reporting software.
  • Vocational qualifications in engineering.
  • Knowledge of lifting equipment standards, PSSR, and PUWER.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Understanding of calibration and COSHH regulations.
  • Full UK clean driving licence.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
  • LEEA General, maintenance background, crane inspection experience.
  • Experience in offshore wind industry.
  • IOSH Managing Safety.
Must have right to work in the UK.
