Faststream Recruitment are working with an innovative mooring solutions company in their search for a Project Engineer.
The Role:
- Day-to-day engineering focal point for the UK business and assigned projects
- Preparing and checking of marine procedures and technical documentation
- Offshore attendance during pre-lay and rig move activities
- Provision of input to business development and tendering activities
- Participation in incident investigations
- Ensuring compliance with Company Management System processes
- Budgetary responsibility for assigned projects
- Planning and management of multi-discipline project resources and deliverables
- Active participation in industry conferences and events
- Maintaining familiarity with industry, new technologies and input to company product and service R&D initiatives
- A least 2 years’ experience in a relevant engineering role
- Bachelor’s engineering degree in relevant field (civil/structural, mechanical, naval architecture, etc.)
- Project engineering / management experience
- Preparation of technical documentation and procedures
- Hydrodynamic / structural analysis
- Familiarity with UK and international design codes, guidelines and regulatory requirements
- Experience in planning and execution of marine operations
- Experience of renewable technologies
- Mooring design and analysis techniques
