Faststream are working with a well-known Energy client that are looking to add various levels of Electrical Engineers to their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to work alongside a leading EPC company. This role would be a contract for 12 months. There will be a variety of projects for onshore and offshore work scopes. Location is also flexible across the UK but you must have the right to work in the UK

The Role - 
As an Principal Electrical Engineer, your responsibilities include ensuring that electrical engineering services meet the clients, customers', and regulatory specifications within the assigned budget and timeline. You will manage electrical engineering project requirements and participate in relevant meetings, prepare progress reports, and comply with required checking procedures. You will also provide advice during procurement, construction, and commissioning activities, oversee requisitions, technical bid evaluations, and purchase order preparation.

Responsibilities - 
  • Lead the Electrical discipline on projects including budget & schedule control / monitoring and reporting
  • Communicate effectively with the electrical engineering team and project stakeholders, including the Customer.
  • Coordinating of all project electrical requirements with various disciplines and across multiple execution centers
Needed - 
  • 15+ years’ experience of Electrical Engineering
  • Ability to lead the Electrical discipline on projects including budget & schedule control / monitoring and reporting
  • Experience in managing fast track projects and dealing with change management on projects 
  • Extensive technical and practical experience in electrical engineering in the same or similar industry including experience in working in multi-disciplinary projects and teams. 
  • Relevant engineering degree
  • Chartered Status
  • History working on large projects
  • Right to work in the UK
