Are you a PR and Brand Manager adept in strategic thinking, storytelling and writing?

Reporting to: VP Marketing & Communications.

Location: Southampton (Chandlers Ford) OR London HQ Office (Marylebone) office. 

PR and Brand Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the organisation’s external communications strategy to enhance brand reputation, drive engagement, and support business objectives. This role oversees media relations, corporate messaging, crisis communication, executive visibility, and digital content. A strategic storyteller and advisor, the PR and Brand Manager works closely with senior leadership to ensure consistent, compelling narratives across all channels and stakeholders.

Essential qualifications, skills and experience:

  • Proven experience in a senior communications role, ideally in a international B2B environment. Maritime experience will be beneficial. 

  • Strong strategic thinking, storytelling, and writing skills.   

  • Demonstrated expertise in media relations, crisis communication, and executive communications. 

  • Experience managing integrated communications across owned, earned, and paid channels.  

  • Excellent stakeholder management and the ability to influence at all levels. 

  • High level of integrity, discretion, and cultural awareness.

  • Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field (Master’s preferred).


Desirable qualifications, skills and experience:   

  • Experience in maritime, clean tech, energy, or industrial sectors.   

  • Familiarity with sustainability and ESG communications.   

  • Knowledge of digital tools (e.g., social media analytics, CMS, media monitoring platforms).

Office Attendance:
The role will be contracted to our offices in either London or Southampton, with the opportunity for some remote working flexibility. The expectation of office attendance is likely to be 16 days per month.

Successful candidates will be taken through a 2 stage interview process with Silverstream:

  • 1st Stage Interview - Via Teams.

  • 2nd Stage Interview - In Person - Southampton/ London office.
