You will lead the equipment and asset management function, ensuring all dry and reefer containers and related assets consistently meet internal quality benchmarks, industry repair standards, and international compliance regulations (ISO, IICL, CSC). You will oversee all M&R (Maintenance & Repair) activities across global depots, ensuring cost-effective, timely, and quality-assured repairs. This role involves full lifecycle management of the inventory of containers—from inspection and repair to strategic planning for procurement, leasing, and disposal. You will analyze container needs across trade lanes, aligning container availability with vessel deployment and cargo flows. Working closely with depots, technical teams, and commercial stakeholders, you will drive optimal container utilization, vendor performance, and cost efficiency while minimizing idle inventory, repositioning, and repair turnaround time.

Key Requirements:
- Proven managerial experience overseeing container equipment management, M&R activities, or depot operations, specifically within the liner or container shipping industry.
- Strong understanding of dry and reefer container types, global repair protocols (e.g. IICL), and international regulatory standards (e.g. CSC, ISO).
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and calculate container needs based on trade lanes, fleet deployment, and cargo flow to optimize container availability and minimize costs.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage third-party vendors, depots, and repair contractors to high operational and service standards.
- Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is required to effectively coordinate with cross-regional teams, authorities, and Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
