Opportunity for a Personal Assistant to join the market leader in clean marine technology.


Silverstream Technologies has successfully developed and deployed a market-leading clean marine technology solution over the last ten years – The Silverstream® System. Our Air Lubrication System (ALS) fundamentally changes the interaction between water and a vessel’s hull, creating a carpet of microbubbles that coats the flat bottom of a vessel. As a result, frictional resistance is reduced – dramatically improving a vessel’s fuel consumption and associated emissions.


The role
In support of significant business growth, a position has arisen for a Personal Assistant to our Executive Team.  The role will provide support to two of our Executives and be part of a growing administrative function within the Company.


The responsibilities 
Our executive group (C-Suite) is in the development stage, and as such it is anticipated that the role will change over time, reflecting the differing needs of the individuals concerned, as well as the areas in which the role holder can add value.  Core responsibilities that are envisaged include:
  • Diary management
  • Travel management
  • General Administration support
  • Scheduling team- wide meetings, minute taking and action follow ups
  • Preparation/review of presentation materials
  • Delegated administration of expenses etc
A degree of flexibility is required in order to provide more general support, if required, in other areas of the administrative function.


The requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience, ideally supporting Senior Management / Executive Roles.
  • Ideally degree educated in a relevant subject
  • Experience in Marine sector desirable
  • Experience of Human Resource processes.
  • High levels of discretion and confidentiality are essential.
  • Well-organised and proactive with excellent time management skills
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office suite
  
Other:
  • Primarily based in our London office, but with a degree of flexibility in accordance with our Hybrid Working Policy. This is likely to require alignment with the attendance plans of the relevant executive.
  • Flexibility in working patterns may be required to support the needs of the relevant executive, such as during periods of travel.
