This is your opportunity to join Silverstream Technologies, a market leading clean technology company standing at the forefront of ship efficiency solutions and maritime decarbonisation. Silverstream are dedicated to delivering cutting-edge technology to reduce fuel burn and harmful emissions from oceangoing vessels. 

As part of their continued growth they are seeking an experienced Operations Facilities Manager and Administrator to support the establishment and management of their new Global Operations Centre in Southampton.


Location: Chandlers Ford, Southampton office. 5 days a week office presence. 

  • Due to open by April - Prior to opening of Southampton office, some attendance may be required in the London office.


This is a highly visible and demanding role, representing the welcoming face for the Silverstream Technologies Global Operations Centre, with a wide-ranging set of accountabilities. The position is intended to provide a broad and interesting scope of engagement, affording a chance to help shape the way the Operations team and wider business are supported and administered.

Seeking a "roll-up-your-sleeves" mentality and someone who possesses a wide range of business and facility management experiences who will be passionate about contributing to the future growth of Silverstream Technologies marine sector and in making the Global Operations Centre a busy and vibrant place to work.


Experience / Qualifications Required:

  • Experience of managing a vibrant office facility and mid-level experience of Personal and/or Business Administration, ideally supporting Senior Management Roles.

  • Experience of Human Resources support processes.

  • Wide ranging experience in an Administrator type role within a Customer Support/Service environment.

  • Strong Office 365 skills including MS Teams, PowerPoint, Excel and Word.

  • Qualified First Aider/Fire Marshall desirable.

  • Degree qualified (or vocational equivalent) in a subject relevant to the role summary.

  • Excellent English language skills, written and spoken.

  • Dynamic personality, happy to take ownership of tasks, must possess positive attitude and relish planned and unplanned challenges which are often time sensitive.

  • The highest levels of confidentiality are essential.

  • Ability to attend the Southampton office daily. 

  • Flexibility to attend the London office, prior to the Southampton office opening.

This role is an office based position, you will be required to have full UK working right, without the need for future sponsorship and be a commutable distance from the office. 

Interview Process:

Successful candidates will be taken through a 2 stage interview process with Silverstream. Ideally we would like both stages to be held face to face with our London team, in order to get a feel for the company and culture. 

  • 1st Stage Interview - Ideally to be completed in the London HQ Office

  • 2nd Stage Interview - Completed at the London HQ Office - Essential
