Our Client is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Naval Architect and Marine Engineer to join our Marine Operations Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing all Class-related matters, with a focus on retrofits, lengthening projects, scrubber modifications, refurbishments, conversions, and ensuring compliance with Solas and Marpol requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as Dry Docks Superintendent and provide necessary support.
  • Manage Napa Onboard support and updates.
  • Offer engineering support for modifications on existing ships, both in operation and during Dry Dock.
  • Provide approval/support for charter activities.
  • Evaluate ERS/SOPEP Drills.
  • Support, update, and modify drawings as needed.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the Naval Architect and Marine Engineers Team within the Marine Operations Department.
Job Requirements: Skills, Competencies, Experience:
  • Proficient in English.
  • Naval Architect and Marine Engineer with a master’s degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a surveyor, with a preference for an engineering qualification or background.
  • Dry Dock experience is desirable.
  • Shipyard experience and/or experience in a naval architect project office and/or repair company is advantageous.
  • Strong PC skills, including proficiency in AutoCAD.
