Faststream is proud to be working with a reputable client who is an established global shipping organization, who are expanding its marine team and looking to hire a Marine Superintendent to join them in Singapore. This is a permanent role, and you'll need to be good at communications, have problem-solving auditing skills and be self-driven.
You will be reporting to the HSSEQ Manager and supporting HSSEQ day-today operations and assessing any areas where improvement processes may be required across the organization. You will be responsible for assessing and reviewing the safety management systems, ISO standards, International Maritime Regulations as well as environmental safety management implementation, regulatory compliance, emergency response management and management of change (Asset/People/Processes).
Previous experience with Dry Bulk will be preferred and you'll be required to travel for occasional visits to implement safety /QA initiatives.
