We are recruiting for a Marine Superintendent to work in Houston for an established owner and global leader of crude oil and refined product tankers.
The Marine Superintendent will manage vessel operations, safety management, regulatory compliance, maintenance, and crewing for a fleet that includes dual fuel, dynamic positioning, and special dual-purpose tanker/marine well containment vessels.
You will oversee the implementation of the company safety management system, manage vessel ISM/ISPS certification, conducts risk assessments, lead investigations, inspection and audits. Liaise with regulatory agencies, external auditors and vetting inspectors.
Ideally you will have sailed as a Senior Deck Officer on board tankers and will have some previous shore based experience in a similar role, although current seagoing officers looking for a shore based role will definitely be considered.
You must have the right to live and work in the US already.
