Key Scope and Responsibilities:
- Ensure vessels operate safely and comply with international regulations and Oil Major requirements
- Monitor and support shipboard teams on navigation, cargo operations, and vetting inspections
- Conduct ship visits, audits, and incident investigations as needed
- Plan and lead pre-vetting preparations and follow-ups
- Provide guidance on cargo handling, tank cleaning, and stowage planning for stainless steel parcel chemical tankers
- Drive continuous improvement in safety culture and operational performance
Key Requirements:
- At least 2 years of sailing experience as Master on chemical tankers, handling heated cargoes such as veg oil
- Shore-based experience as a Marine Superintendent
- Strong working knowledge of Chemical Tanker regulations and Oil Major standards
- Familiarity with stainless steel parcel chemical tankers highly preferred
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
