We are partnering with a shipping conglomerate to hire a competent Marine Manager in Singapore
Command experience as a Captain on seagoing vessels is a must. Strong background in HSEQ and proven working experience in a deputy manager or manager position holding similar responsibilities. Hands on experience and familiarity with container ships will be critical for this position.
You will provide leadership and guidance to the current team. You will ensure the proper implementation and familiarization of safety policies and procedures on board. Ensure compliance to current international regulatory requirements. Responsible for incident investigations and near-misses, assist to develop and implement solutions to prevent recurrences. Preparing the ships for audits. Responsible for crewing expenditure and crew appraisal.
