Faststream is exclusively supporting Orkney Islands Council to recruit a Marine Infrastructure Manager to cover the stunning Orkney Islands based in the North coast of Scotland.

The Orkney Harbour Authority is responsible for the operations of 29 Piers and Harbours, supporting the local community across 13 inhabited islands, welcoming over 230 cruise vessels and more than 350,000 visitors a year.
In the role of Infrastructure Manager , you will support the Head of Marine Services by acting as operational leader for all Civil/ Structural and M&E functions across the islands piers and harbours. The role covers all areas of maintenance and upkeep of existing infrastructure together with the development and upgrades of infrastructure across the islands as part of the masterplan.
The ideal candidate will likely have:
- A degree in Civil Engineer or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering and hold either incorporated or Chartered status.
- Leadership and people management experience is desirable.
- Candidates are likely to have worked in either a construction or design environment.
- To be based in Scapa on the Orkney Islands
