Marine Electronics Technician Job Summary:
In this role, you'll be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing marine electronic equipment on commercial and naval vessels. You’ll need to test, adjust, and troubleshoot components, PCBs, sub-assemblies, and antennas, as well as manage software updates and modifications. Your expertise in electronic theory and circuitry will be critical as you navigate complex schematics, blueprints, and manuals to ensure high-quality work. After each job, you’ll be expected to complete and submit a detailed service report.

- 3+ years of experience as a Marine Electronics Technician in the commercial shipping industry.
- A university degree in engineering or equivalent technical certifications.
- Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
- Strong knowledge of electronics theory and application.
- GMDSS Radio Operator Maintainer License preferred.
- Physically fit to handle a work environment involving carrying up to 23 kilograms, climbing ladders/masts, working in confined spaces, and exposure to various weather conditions.
