A well-established marine services provider is currently seeking a Marine Electrical Technician to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with a background in marine systems who is looking to build a career in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in diagnosing and repairing electrical and electronic systems on marine vessels.
  • Carry out testing, surveys, dockings, overhauls, and other electrical-related maintenance.
  • Support pre-docking preparations, inspections, and reporting, including follow-up actions.
  • Work collaboratively with engineers and technical staff to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Requirements:
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in the marine industry.
  • Basic understanding of diesel engines, propulsion systems, and associated control/monitoring systems.
  • Proficiency in fault finding and rectification of electrical and electronic defects.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong computer skills and comfort with technical documentation.
  • Full, clean driving license.
