You will have over 7 years + of placing experience in the London Market, handling direct business and placements coming into the office from an established network of international colleagues. You will be able to utilise the relationships with various Underwriters to negotiate competitive terms for the book - the focus is on expertise, technical skill, and the ability to negotiate competitive terms.
Your portfolio will be centred on War Risks, Hull & Machinery, and P&I, with additional exposure being beneficial e.g. Increased Value, Freight Interest, Kidnap & Ransom, Yachts, and other marine lines.

- Minimum 7 years' experience in marine broking within Lloyd's and the London market (applications from candidates with less years will only be considered if they are already operating at senior broker level)
- Profound knowledge and experience in War Risks, Hull & Machinery, and P&I
- Strong understanding of marine market operations and placement processes
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently, managing a varied and complex portfolio
