Job Description

Working within the Marine Operational Assurance and Risk Management department, and reporting directly to a Senior Director, you will oversee a global portfolio of enterprise functions and services, primarily focused on maritime and terminal security services.

You will serve as the subject matter expert and oversee management of both indirect reports and a network of service providers. You will provide support to leadership, ensuring that security programs, policies, procedures, and risk assessments are fully implemented while providing the business with guidance, threat assessment, and mitigation.

The successful candidate will have a solid background in maritime security, the oil & gas industry, strong program management and strategic planning skills.
  
Responsibilities will include acting as the Company Security Officer (CSO) as required under the International Shipping and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code.

Maintaining and ensuring compliance with the company’s Security Policy/Commitment Statement, onboard vessels and directly supporting our terminals.

Monitoring, tracking and ensuring all security audits, tests, drills, and exercises are completed per the Ship Security Plan / Facility Security Plan, meeting regulatory requirements and the broader Safety Management System (SMS).

You will have extensive experience in the maritime sector, oil and gas industry, or a security related function. Be Certified Company/Ship Security Officer (CSO) and Port Facilities Security Officer (PFSO) and a background in the management and assessment of corporate security operations within a multinational organization.
