As an LPG Operator, you will be a key part of the shipping and cargo operations team – managing the end-to-end movement of liquefied petroleum gas across international waters. Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and execute LPG cargo movements in line with contractual terms and trading strategies.
  • Manage vessel nominations, laycan confirmations, and terminal communications.
  • Monitor and track voyages, ensuring timely loading and discharge of cargo.
  • Handle trading contract, shipping and cargo documentation including bills of lading, certificates, and customs formalities.
  • Oversee the operational logistics and position management of refrigerated LPG cargoes, with a focus on optimizing efficiency and supporting profit maximization across trading activities.
  • Collaborate with chartering, legal, risk, and finance teams for seamless trade execution.
  • Manage and resolve demurrage claims, disputes, and performance issues.
  • Maintain accurate records in internal systems and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Support post-fixture operations including cargo invoicing and payment coordination.
  • Liaise with counterparties, shipowners, port agents, and surveyors to ensure smooth operations.
  • Contribute to process improvements and risk mitigation in trading operations.
  
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Maritime, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 4 years of direct relevant experience in LPG cargo operations.
  • Ability to handle incomplete information and manage multiple conflicting priorities in a fast-paced, 24/7 trading environment.
  • Strong communicator with excellent networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Detail-oriented, with a keen focus on accuracy and efficiency.
