The Company

Our client is a well established and highly respected owner and operator within the LPG market. Operating a modern fleet in a commercially demanding environment the business places strong emphasis on safe efficient and commercially optimised operations. This role has been created to strengthen shore based operational oversight as market expectations around performance compliance and voyage execution continue to rise.

The Role

This is a senior shore based operations role with responsibility for the day to day management of an LPG fleet. You will oversee voyage execution with primary regard to safety environmental protection and Charter Party compliance while ensuring vessels perform in line with owner and charterer expectations.
The role involves providing clear operational guidance to Masters and senior officers covering voyage instructions cargo operations navigation mooring stowage and tank cleaning. You will act as the key interface between the vessels and shore management teams ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on voyage orders itineraries and operational priorities.

You will be expected to proactively manage and resolve operational issues minimise downtime and support investigations into incidents with a focus on corrective actions and shared learning. Regular vessel attendance will form part of the role alongside supporting audits emergency response activities and close collaboration with technical crewing QHSSE and commercial teams to drive consistent fleet performance. Ensuring documentation and voyage correspondence are maintained in line with regulatory and company requirements is also a core responsibility.

About You

You are an experienced LPG tanker professional who has sailed to Chief Officer or Master and successfully transitioned ashore into an operations role. You bring a strong understanding of LPG cargo operations Charter Party interpretation navigation and international regulatory requirements and you are confident applying this knowledge in a fast paced commercial environment.
You will have at least two to three years of shore based experience managing the day to day operations of a gas tanker fleet and are known for providing clear decisive and practical guidance to vessels.

Your communication style allows you to engage effectively with seafarers and shore teams alike and you are comfortable taking ownership of complex operational challenges.
