Our client, a leader in the movement of cargo, is looking for a Logistics Coordinator with good Customer Service skills to join their team.
In this role you will:
- Assist and advise customers with their booking requests
- Manage booking and rate quote docs, forecast reports, bill of lading
- Handle cargo coordination; track & trace cargo
- Review and process load and discharge lists
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues
- Create and update vessel schedules
- Some experience in a similar customer service/coordinator role would be beneficial
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English, second language a plus
- Advanced level Microsoft Office skills
- Works well in a team environment
- Maritime or logistics experience is a plus
- Must have a superior customer service mindset, able to troubleshoot issues and resolve them quickly
- Must be authorized to work in the US, no visa or sponsorship available at this time, local candidates to the Jacksonville area only
