This pivotal role involves overseeing the coordination of vessel port calls, managing supplier and client relationships, and ensuring the smooth delivery of services at every stage of the operation. You will be the key point of contact during port stays, balancing operational efficiency with high-quality standards.
What you’ll be doing:
- Plan and coordinate vessel operations before, during, and after port visits
- Work closely with suppliers and clients to guarantee timely, seamless service
- Manage requests for quotations, review pricing, and liaise with commercial teams
- Monitor operations on-site, resolving any issues quickly and effectively
- Maintain continuous communication with all stakeholders, ensuring service excellence
- Keep detailed records and reports, using CRM and operational tools
- Conduct port visits when necessary to supervise ongoing operations
- Ensure supplier performance meets quality expectations
- Provide 24/7 operational support as needed
- Proven experience in vessel operations or shipping, ideally within port logistics
- Familiarity with the maritime sector and international operational standards
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
- Proficient with MS Office applications and CRM systems
- Fluent in English and Greek; additional languages such as French, Italian, Spanish, or Arabic are a plus
- Experience in defence or government-related logistics is desirable but not essential
