A fantastic opportunity for a Junior IT Support to develop in an IT Management position. 

Reporting To: Head of Business Systems and IT

Location: London HQ Office (Marylebone) OR Southampton (Chandlers Ford) Office. 

The IT Support Assistant will report to and support the Head of Business Systems and IT in managing various IT projects and daily operations. The role involves assisting with the ISO 27001 compliance, managing cybersecurity processes, liaising between employees and the IT MSP, maintaining the hardware register, following up on ongoing projects, contributing to the development of IT projects and business systems, and providing hands-on assistance with minor technical issues.

Essential qualifications, skills and experience:   

  • A qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.   

  • Basic knowledge of ISO 27001 standards and cybersecurity principles.  

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.   

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.   

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and IT service management tools.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.   

  • Previous experience in an IT support role.     

Desirable qualifications, skills and experience:   

  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.   

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.   

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.   

  • Strong customer service orientation.

Office Attendance:
The role will be contracted to our offices in either London or Southampton, with the opportunity for some remote working flexibility. The expectation of office attendance is likely to be 16 days per month.

Successful candidates will be taken through a 2 stage interview process with Silverstream:

  • 1st Stage Interview - Via Teams.

  • 2nd Stage Interview - In Person - Southampton/ London office.
