Faststream is excited to represent an opportunity for a Junior Chartering Manager to join a highly reputable and successful ship owner in Hamburg.

Role Overview:
  • Location: Hamburg, Germany
  • Focus: Heavy Lift vessels
Key Responsibilities:
  • Freight Rate Calculations: Learn to calculate competitive freight rates.
  • Client Interaction: Understand and respond to client requirements.
  • Negotiations: Develop skills in negotiating contract details.
  • Tender Management: Assist with managing tenders.
  • Vessel Monitoring: Track vessel space and availability.
  • Business Development: Help develop new accounts and expand client base.

Who We're Looking For:
  • Education: Completed Ausbildung or a traineeship within the shipping industry. Additional work experience within shipping is of great benefit.
  • Work Authorization: Work permit for the European Union
