They have recently and successfully diversified into the renewables sector and are working with clients to develop a number of floating wind, wave and tidal energy designs. They have extensive experience of offshore transportation and installation, heavy lift engineering and decommissioning.
They are looking for a Junior CAD Draftsperson with 1 to 3 years’ experience.
Reporting to the Lead Draftsman, the candidate shall be responsible for performing drafting and 3D modelling activities including structural and layout drawings and models.
The role would involve:
- Working alongside the engineering department to produce detailed drawings and 3D models of their offshore structures and mooring systems
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Inventor software
- Ability to work from their London office at least 2 days per week
- Engineering Degree or relevant technical qualification
- Knowledge of welding symbols and structural drafting
- Knowledge of basic marine/vessel terminology
