Are you an experienced seagoing professional with a passion for ensuring compliance with international regulations and industry guidelines? As the Internal Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring that our vessels operate to the highest standards established by the Company and in compliance with international rules and regulations. You will work closely with our Masters and crews to provide the assistance they require, and you will be fully conversant with our Management System, implementing it effectively while promoting and supporting efforts for continual improvement.
To be considered for this position, you must possess seagoing experience in a senior officer position of not less than two years and a minimum of three years of relevant work experience with a cruise shipping company. You should have a good working knowledge of international rules and regulations and industry guidelines and recommendations, as well as operational knowledge of passenger vessels. You must also possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively within a team.
In addition to your seagoing experience, you should possess training, experience, and skills in internal auditing, incident investigation, and risk management. You should also have a good command of the English language.
As the Internal Auditor, you will conduct internal audits onboard as well as in the office in accordance with respective procedures. You will support vessels during external audits, attend vessels during the takeover, and conduct audits of service providers. You will work on projects or tasks assigned by the Head of Quality Assurance.
