Main Responsibilities
The HSEQ Superintendent is responsible to
- contribute to the company’s vision and mission;
- ensure that Cruise SMS effectively implements our Policies and comply fully with all requirements related to Health, Safety, Quality and the Environment;
- continually improve the company's SMS with the clear objective to improve and ensure it’s compliance with existing and known future requirements;
- monitor and follow up on lessons learned from Undesired Events;
- monitor and follow up on Shipboard Management System Reviews;
- monitor and follow up on Suggestion for Improvements;
- monitor and follow up on Noteworthy Efforts;
- monitor and follow up on Fleet Performance analysis;
- monitor and follow up on regulatory updates and industry best practices relevant for assigned vessels.
- owns the mindset of wanting to enhance your own and our team’s performance;
- has excellent communication skills and ability to work in a Team;
- has strong organizational skills with attention to detail;
- preferably has seagoing experience as a Senior Officer in the cruise industry;
- preferably has a BSc degree in HSE, but not a requirement;
- is goal- and results orientated;
- has strong computer skills and ability to author formal documentation;
- works well under pressure and meet deadlines;
- has the necessary permits to work and live in Norway.
