Job Summary: The HSEQ Manager ensures the implementation and monitoring of the company's HSEQ policies, maintaining fleet vessels per international standards and company performance indicators. Reporting to the Tech Director and interrelating with various managers and headquarters, the HSEQ Manager oversees safety, pollution prevention, compliance with ISM codes, ISO standards, and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include conducting inspections, managing resources, ensuring safety training, coordinating with external bodies, and addressing safety concerns. Success is measured by meeting objectives, effective interactions, timely reporting, flexibility, and the ability to assess vessel seaworthiness.
Mandatory Requirements:
- An Ex Master-Mariner with a minimum of five years' experience in a comparable position.
- Extensive comprehension of Marine and HSEQ management principles, alongside thorough knowledge of industry regulations.
- Must have auditor training.
- Demonstrated technical prowess, particularly in emergency response protocols, coupled with exceptional communication abilities, adaptable to varying contexts.
- Location: Currently situated in Singapore.
