Faststream are supporting a global shipping business to bring on an HR Manager – Employee & Industrial Relations.

In this role, you will manage ER & IR for all seafaring and office-based staff. You will be responsible for managing strategic industrial relations, creating and implementing procedures, collective bargaining agreements and deal with pay negotiations with the trade unions, amongst various other duties.  

The ideal candidate for this role will have:-
  • Proven background as an Industrial Relations from the Shipping, Rail, Aviation, Transport of heavy industries
  • Experience dealing with Trade Unions and working with heavily unionsed workforces
  • Experience working on strategic aims and objectives relating to ER and IR
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Collective Bargaining experience

There is option for some hybrid / flexible working, but you will need to be based in North / the North West of the UK on a permanent basis.
