Faststream Recruitment is delighted to present an opportunity for a passionate and experienced Human Resources Manager to join a prestigious luxury ocean cruise line. This is a unique chance to be part of a world-class onboard team, delivering excellence in crew management and welfare at sea.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the onboard HR function, ensuring effective crew relations and compliance with company standards
  • Provide guidance and support to senior leadership and crew on HR matters including performance, training, and conduct
  • Manage crew welfare programs, onboard orientation, and employee engagement initiatives
  • Ensure alignment with maritime labour conventions, company policies, and international regulations
  • Act as a bridge between shipboard departments and shore-side HR support
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Previous experience as an HR Manager or Senior HR Officer onboard a cruise ship is essential
  • Strong knowledge of maritime regulations, MLC compliance, and multicultural workforce management
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Proactive, empathetic, and a strong communicator across all levels
  • CIPD qualification or similar HR certification is highly desirable
  • Will hold valid seagoing documents including STCW, C1D Visa and Seagoing Medical certificate. 
  • Will be available within the month of May 2025.
