Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner closely with seagoing and onshore teams to understand their unique HR needs and challenges.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company's objectives and ensure compliance with maritime regulations.
  • Provide expert advice on HR matters to seafaring and onshore personnel, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Lead initiatives related to talent acquisition, crewing, and succession planning for our seagoing workforce.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to drive overall HR excellence, supporting areas such as employee relations, performance management, and employee engagement.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Manager with a focus on seagoing operations in the maritime industry.
  • Strong understanding of seafaring regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to engage with diverse teams.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • CIPD or other relevant HR certification is a plus.
Work Arrangement: This role offers a flexible work arrangement, with 3 days per week in our London office and the remaining 2 days working remotely from home.
