We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Hotel Purchasing Specialist to join our elite team and take charge of our food and beverage (F&B) and hotel consumable procurement.

Key Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of two years in F&B purchasing and/or inventory control, preferably on cruise vessels.
  • Communication: Excellent command of English, both written and oral. Fluency in other European languages (German, French, etc.) is a plus.
  • Skills: Effective communication for price negotiation and supplier management, with a profound understanding of the hotel industry’s rules and regulations.
  • Organization: Exceptional organizational skills, adept at managing multiple tasks within tight schedules.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong financial understanding and the ability to interpret data to make strategic decisions.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with IT tools related to purchasing and inventory management is an asset.
  • Commercial Awareness: Sharp commercial acumen to drive cost-effective purchasing decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Procurement: Process and monitor orders within allocated budgets, ensuring timely and accurate requisitions.
  • Logistics: Oversee logistical requirements and toll data for hotel-related deliveries.
  • Maintenance & Repair: Organize maintenance services and handle repair orders for hotel equipment.
  • Cost-Effectiveness: Conduct ongoing cost-effectiveness analyses for clients and suppliers.
  • Budget Management: Monitor operating budgets and address any issues or overspends in coordination with line managers and corporate teams.
  • Quality Control: Ensure services delivered on board meet or exceed client and vessel expectations.
  • Supplier Relations: Maintain excellent relationships with suppliers and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Standards Compliance: Adhere to company operating standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Project Participation: Support new IT projects related to purchasing and participate in various assigned projects.
