You’ll work closely with shipboard teams, contractors, and owners’ representatives to deliver high-quality refit projects, ensure maintenance standards are met, and uphold exceptional guest experience levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver hotel refit and upgrade projects, from planning and budgeting through to completion.
- Oversee maintenance activities for hotel systems, including galleys, laundries, and accommodation areas.
- Liaise with onboard teams, contractors, and shore-based colleagues to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
- Conduct inspections and audits to maintain compliance with health, safety, and technical standards.
- Manage budgets for maintenance and capital projects, ensuring cost efficiency and quality.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations, including Public Health, SOLAS, Flag State, and Classification Society requirements.
- Recognised qualification in marine engineering, naval architecture, or project management.
- Proven experience in hotel or technical maintenance within the cruise, yacht, or luxury hospitality sector.
- Strong project management, organisational, and budgeting skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Sound knowledge of SOLAS, Flag State, and Classification Society standards.
- Proficient in MS Office and confident in preparing technical reports.
- Proactive, organised, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
