Role Overview
We are delighted to be partnering with a global provider in Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software, delivering advanced solutions designed specifically for the maritime and energy sectors.
The Head of Sales will be responsible for driving commercial growth across the Asia Pacific region, with a particular focus on Singapore, India, and Australia. This role centers on expanding business opportunities for digital and software solutions within the maritime, shipping, and oil & gas sectors.
As an individual contributor, you will independently manage the entire sales cycle — from prospecting and client engagement to proposal development, negotiation, and closure. The ideal candidate will bring a strong commercial mindset, deep industry understanding, and the ability to develop long-term strategic relationships with key decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to drive growth and achieve revenue targets across Singapore, India, and Australia.
- Identify, engage, and secure new business opportunities within the maritime, shipping, and oil & gas sectors.
- Manage the full sales cycle independently — including lead generation, client presentations, proposal development, and contract negotiations.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders at both technical and executive levels.
- Collaborate with internal teams (product, marketing, technical support) to deliver customised solutions aligned with client needs.
- Provide regular market insights and competitive intelligence to inform commercial strategies and product positioning.
- Represent the company at regional maritime and energy conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance market visibility.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system, with regular reporting on pipeline, forecasts, and key metrics.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in B2B sales, ideally within maritime technology, shipping, offshore, or oil & gas industries.
- Proven success in achieving sales targets and managing high-value, consultative sales processes.
- Strong understanding of digitalisation trends, fleet management systems, and operational challenges in the maritime and energy sectors.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Self-driven, proactive, and capable of working autonomously with minimal supervision.
